A public lecture themed “Indonesian Poultry Industry in the Digital Era: Technology, Efficiency, and Competitiveness” was hosted by the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry and the Master's Program in Animal Science FP USU on November 4, 2026. This event discussed the utilization of digital technology to enhance production efficiency, optimize livestock management, and strengthen the competitiveness of a modern and sustainable Indonesian poultry industry. This activity supports the achievement of SDGs 2, 8, 9, and 12.

The Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry and the Master's Program in Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), invited students, academics, and the general public to attend a public lecture discussing the developments of the Indonesian poultry industry in the digital era.

The utilization of digital technology serves as a key element in boosting production efficiency, optimizing livestock management, and reinforcing the competitiveness of the poultry industry amidst increasingly complex challenges.

Through this public lecture, participants were guided to understand how technology can be applied to foster a more modern, efficient, and sustainable poultry industry.
