Golden Fiesta 50-Year Reunion, the 1975 Batch Alumni of USU Faculty of Agriculture The 1975 alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), have officially launched the Golden Fiesta 50-Year Reunion series at the Faculty of Agriculture USU. The reunion carries the theme: "Gathering, Reminiscing, Being Grateful, Being Patient, Sharing, and Being Helpful." 22 April 2025

Public Lecture by the Doctoral Program in Agricultural Science and the Master's Program in Food Science: Gut Health, Gut Microbiota, and Role of Probiotics The Doctoral Program in Agricultural Science and the Master's Program in Food Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a public lecture on "Gut Health, Gut Microbiota, and the Role of Probiotics" on March 25, 2025, in a hybrid format. The event featured Prof. Dr. Ir. Endang Sutriswati Rahayu, MS as the keynote speaker, who discussed the role of probiotics and the importance of a healthy diet in maintaining microbiota balance in the body. 27 March 2025

The Undergraduate Programs in Agrotechnology, Animal Science, and Food Technology of FP USU Successfully Obtained ASIIN International Accreditation The Undergraduate Programs in Agrotechnology, Animal Science, and Food Technology have received international accreditation from ASIIN (Accreditation in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematics) for a one-year period. 27 March 2025

Visit of PT Agrari to the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, USU The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), welcomed a visit from Prof. Bungaran Saragih, a Distinguished Professor at IPB University and former Minister of Agriculture (2001–2004) under the Gotong-Royong Cabinet, along with PT Agrari. The visit aimed to review the progress of a collaborative research project on seedless citrus plants developed through tissue culture at the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, USU. 25 March 2025

Signing of Memorandum of Understanding between Yayasan Merah Putih Kasih with Universitas Sumatera Utara and USU Faculty of Agriculture and Public Lecture The USU Faculty of Agriculture collaborated with the JHL Merah Putih Kasih Foundation in organizing a public lecture entitled Millennial Generation and the Future of Indonesian Agriculture. The event featured Mr. Jerry Hermawan Lo, Chairman of the JHL Merah Putih Kasih Foundation, as the main speaker. In addition, this activity was also followed by the official signing of a collaboration agreement to strengthen the partnership. 18 March 2025

Discussion of Collaboration Plan between Pascal Biotech and the USU Faculty of Agriculture The USU Faculty of Agriculture has hosted Pascal Biotech to discuss collaboration plans between Pascal Biotech and the USU Faculty of Agriculture in the research of biological control of oil palm plant diseases. 17 March 2025

The Undergraduate Program in Agribusiness at FP USU Achieves International Accreditation The Undergraduate Program in Agribusiness has achieved FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) International Accreditation with the Full Accredited category for 5 years. 14 March 2025
