JungFood Ex-Fest 4th 2026 Showcases Innovation and Creativity of Food Technology Students at the Faculty of Agriculture JungFood Ex-Fest 4th 2026, organized by students of the Food Technology Study Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, served as a platform for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial development through food product exhibitions, talk shows, competitions, bazaars, and various entertainment performances under the theme “Culinary Time Capsule: Preserving Roots, Innovating Future.” 13 May 2026

Student Competition Exhibition at the USU Faculty of Agriculture Showcases International-Level Student Innovation and Creativity The Student Competition Exhibition organized by the Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Sumatera Utara was successfully held, featuring various national and international student competitions and innovation exhibitions. The event involved 20 universities with a total of 77 participants in the essay, poster, product, and exhibition booth categories as part of efforts to develop student creativity and achievement. 11 May 2026

USU Agricultural Science Doctoral Student Graduates with Cum Laude Distinction through Research Pathway A doctoral student of the Agricultural Science Doctoral Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara, Agustina E. Br Marpaung, has successfully earned her doctorate with Cum Laude distinction through the research pathway after defending her dissertation on the potential of indigenous phosphate-solubilizing microorganisms in improving shallot production in Andisols. This achievement makes her the first doctoral graduate of 2026 and the second research-track graduate in the USU Agricultural Science Doctoral Program. 11 May 2026

Faculty of Agriculture USU Lecturers Receive Funding from the 2026 Indonesia Collaborative Research Program Lecturers from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, have once again achieved recognition through their success in obtaining funding from the 2026 Indonesia Collaborative Research Program (RKI) under Scheme A and Scheme B. This funding supports national and international collaborative research in agriculture, health, and food innovation, which is expected to contribute positively to the advancement of science and Indonesian society. 11 May 2026
