The 1975 alumni of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), have officially launched the Golden Fiesta 50-Year Reunion series at the Faculty of Agriculture USU. The reunion carries the theme: "Gathering, Reminiscing, Being Grateful, Being Patient, Sharing, and Being Helpful."

"I sincerely apologize to everyone. Let us forgive one another, as there may have been friction in the course of our daily duties and work. May we continue to work with greater enthusiasm and harmony in the future. Once again, I wish you all a blessed Eid al-Fitr. Please accept my heartfelt apologies,” expressed Prof. Tavi.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, welcomed a visit from the National Downstreaming Team to discuss and gather information on innovation products developed by the faculty’s lecturers.

The Undergraduate Programs in Agrotechnology, Animal Science, and Food Technology have received international accreditation from ASIIN (Accreditation in Engineering, Computer Sciences, Natural Sciences, Mathematics) for a one-year period.

The Doctoral Program in Agricultural Science and the Master's Program in Food Science at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held a public lecture on "Gut Health, Gut Microbiota, and the Role of Probiotics" on March 25, 2025, in a hybrid format. The event featured Prof. Dr. Ir. Endang Sutriswati Rahayu, MS as the keynote speaker, who discussed the role of probiotics and the importance of a healthy diet in maintaining microbiota balance in the body.
