The Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, organized an International Public Lecture entitled “Soil and the Future of Food: Building Sustainable and Resilient Food Systems In A Changing Climate” with Associate Prof. Dr. Rosazlin Binti Abdullah from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, to strengthen insights into soil, food security, sustainable agriculture, and climate change, in line with SDGs 2, 4, 15, and 17.

The Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), will organize an International Public Lecture entitled “Soil and The Future of Food: Building Sustainable and Resilient Food Systems In A Changing Climate”.

The activity will feature Associate Prof. Dr. Rosazlin Binti Abdullah from the Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia, as the speaker. The material will discuss the role of soil in supporting the future of food as well as the importance of building sustainable and resilient food systems in facing climate change.

The activity will be moderated by Nursa'adah, S.ST., M.Agr., a lecturer of the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, USU.

This activity is part of efforts to broaden academic insights and strengthen international networks in the field of sustainable agriculture.
