The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), is pleased to announce the opening of admissions for its Graduate Programs for the latest Academic Year, offering both Master’s (S2) and Doctoral (S3) degrees.

The Graduate Programs of the Faculty of Agriculture USU are designed to develop innovators, researchers, and future leaders who can contribute to sustainable and globally competitive agricultural development.

The available study programs are:

Master’s Degree Programs (S2)

  1. Master’s Program in Agrotechnology
  2. Master’s Program in Agribusiness
  3. Master’s Program in Animal Science
  4. Master’s Program in Food Science

Doctoral Degree Program (S3)

  1. Doctoral Program in Agricultural Science

Admission Requirements for Master’s Programs (S2)

Applicants must provide:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree Certificate (S1) and Academic Transcript
  2. A 3×4 cm passport photograph with a white background
  3. Recommendation letters from two lecturers who taught the applicant during their undergraduate studies and from a supervisor (for employed applicants)
  4. National Identity Card (KTP)

Application Procedure

  1. Pay the application fee of IDR 1,000,000 through a BNI Virtual Account.
  2. Complete the online application through the USU admissions portal.
  3. Fill in personal information, select the desired study program, and upload all required documents.

Admission Requirements for Doctoral Programs (S3)

Applicants must provide:

  1. Master’s Degree Certificate (S2) and Academic Transcript
  2. A 3×4 cm passport photograph with a white background
  3. Recommendation letters from two lecturers who taught the applicant during their undergraduate and/or graduate studies and from a supervisor (for employed applicants)
  4. National Identity Card (KTP)

  1. Pay the application fee of IDR 1,250,000 through a BNI Virtual Account.
  2. Complete the online application through the USU admissions portal.
  3. Fill in personal information, select the desired study program, and upload all required documents.
