Announcement of Dress Code and Attribute Requirements for New FP USU Students 2026

New FP USU Students 2026 are required to comply with the requirements for clothing, hairstyles, attributes, Name Tags, and daily supplies during PKKMB Day 1–3. Make sure all requirements are prepared and fulfilled before participating in the activities.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), announces the requirements for clothing, hairstyles, attributes, and supplies that must be prepared by New FP USU Students 2026 during the series of Campus Life Introduction for New Students (PKKMB) activities.

New students are expected to carefully observe and prepare all of the following requirements.

A. Dress Code for Day 1–3

  1. Male Students
    Wear a plain white shirt.
    Wear black fabric trousers.
    Wear black shoes and socks.
  2. Female Students
    Wear a plain white shirt.
    Wear a long black skirt.
    Students who wear hijabs are required to wear a black hijab.
    Students who do not wear hijabs are required to tie their hair neatly in a single ponytail.

B. Hairstyle Requirements

  1. Male Students
    Hair must be neat and cut short, approximately 1–2 cm in length.
    Hair must have an even length throughout the head; undercut, fade, and mohawk hairstyles are not permitted.
    Hair must be naturally black and must not be dyed.
    Moustaches and beards must be clean-shaven.
  2. Female Students Without Hijabs
    Hair must be tied neatly.
    Hair must be naturally black and must not be dyed.

C. Attributes for Day 1–3

All new students, both male and female, are required to wear the following attributes:

Almamater
Name Tag according to the Study Program
Hat
Scarf
Brown ribbon
Tote bag

Ribbon Requirements

A 2 cm-wide brown ribbon must be tied around the right arm. The length of the ribbon should be adjusted so that it can be worn neatly.

D. Name Tag Requirements

All New FP USU Students 2026 are required to download, print, and wear the official Name Tag according to their respective Study Program throughout the PKKMB activities.

Name Tag requirements:

  1. Download the Name Tag file according to your respective Study Program through the Name Tag link.

  2. Enter personal information neatly and typewritten, not handwritten, including:
  • Full Name
  • Student Identification Number (NIM)
  • Study Program
  1. The Name Tag must be printed on HVS paper with the following dimensions:
  • Length: 14 cm
  • Width: 10 cm
  1. The printed Name Tag must be laminated to make it waterproof and prevent it from being easily damaged or folded.
  2. Make a hole at the top of the Name Tag and attach a string of an appropriate length so that it can be worn neatly around the neck.

E. Daily Supplies Recommendations

New students are required or encouraged to prepare the following supplies during the activities:

  1. Use a backpack.
  2. Bring a BPJS card and ID card (KTP).
  3. Bring a notebook and writing utensils.
  4. Bring a tumbler filled with drinking water.
  5. Bring lunch for all three days and make sure to have breakfast before leaving home.
  6. Bring personal medication if needed.
  7. Bring prayer equipment for Muslim students.
  8. Specifically for new Muslim male students, bring a prayer mat/prayer equipment on Friday, August 14, 2026, for Friday Prayer.
  9. Bring a portable fan if necessary.
  10. Bring an umbrella/raincoat.
  11. Bring plastic or newspaper of an appropriate size to use as a sitting mat on the first and third days.

All New FP USU Students 2026 are expected to prepare their clothing, attributes, and supplies according to the requirements before participating in the PKKMB activities. Make sure all attributes and supplies are available and used according to the requirements throughout the activities.

This announcement is issued for the attention and guidance of all New FP USU Students 2026.

Announcement
