As part of the Indonesian Research and Innovation Fair (IRI Fair) 2026 series, BRINATHON (BRIN Idea Marathon) is presented as a research idea competition for active Diploma 4 (D4) and Bachelor’s (S1) students. This competition serves as a platform for students to express innovative ideas through an Idea Concept Paper (ICP) or Research Proposal that has the potential to contribute to the advancement of science and innovation in Indonesia. The program is organized by the National Research and Innovation Agency.

BRINATHON is open to active S1/D4 students up to a maximum of the 8th semester by September 2026. Participants are required to register as a team rather than individually, with a maximum composition of three students from the same faculty.

The benefits participants can receive include:

• Cash prizes totaling tens of millions of rupiah
• Award trophies
• Certificates for participants/winners

Students who are interested in research and innovation are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to develop creative ideas and expand their experience in preparing competitive research proposals.
