The Faculty of Agriculture USU announces career opportunities for students and alumni through the opening of the Management Trainee Basic Development Program (BDP) by Bumitama Gunajaya Agro, scheduled to begin in July 2026. This program provides fresh graduates with the opportunity to develop competencies in agronomy and engineering through a series of selection stages and intensive training prior to job placement in Kalimantan.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, informs all students and alumni that Bumitama Gunajaya Agro is offering career opportunities through its Management Trainee: Basic Development Program (BDP).

This program is designed for fresh graduates as well as early-career candidates who wish to develop professional competencies in agronomy and engineering through an intensive 6-month training program.

Selection Stages:

  • Online Registration
  • Assessment & Psychological Test
  • Interview (HR & User)
  • Medical Check-Up
  • Estimated Departure: July 2026

General Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (S1), fresh graduate or maximum 2 years of work experience
  • Minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Willing to undergo a 6-month training program
  • Willing to be placed in Central Kalimantan or West Kalimantan

  • BDP Agronomy (BDP-A)
    (Agronomy, Soil Science, Forestry, Agrotechnology, or related fields)
  • BDP Engineering (BDP-E)
    (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive, Chemical Engineering, or related fields)
