The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), has issued the Dos & Don’ts guide for the 2026 PKKMB as a reference for new students participating in the entire series of activities from August 12–14, 2026. Students are expected to prepare the necessary items, comply with the regulations, maintain order, and uphold the spirit of togetherness and fraternity throughout the activities.

In preparation for the 2026 Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), all new students are encouraged to prepare themselves and participate in the entire series of activities in accordance with the established regulations.

The 2026 PKKMB at FP USU will be held from August 12–14, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. WIB. To ensure the smooth, orderly, safe, and comfortable implementation of the activities, new students are required to observe the following Dos and Don’ts.

DO — What Students Should Do

  1. Arrive on time according to the established schedule and regulations.
  2. Participate in the entire PKKMB series from August 12–14, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. WIB.
  3. Wear clothing and attributes in accordance with the 2026 PKKMB regulations of FP USU.
  4. Bring the necessary items, including:
    • A water bottle filled with drinking water;
    • A notebook and stationery;
    • Personal medication, if needed;
    • BPJS Kesehatan or other health insurance card, if available;
    • National Identity Card (KTP);
    • Lunch;
    • Plastic or newspaper to be used as a sitting mat;
    • Prayer equipment for Muslim students;
    • An umbrella or raincoat.
  5. Have breakfast at home before attending the activities and bring lunch.
  6. Memorize the faculty’s yells and become familiar with and listen to USU songs, namely the USU Hymn, USU March, and “Aku USU Aku Maju.”
  7. Use public transportation, online transportation services, or be dropped off by family members when traveling to the activity location.
  8. Students who are ill or have pre-existing medical conditions that prevent them from participating in the activities must provide a valid medical certificate.
  9. Bring a BPJS Kesehatan card or other health insurance card as a precaution in case medical assistance is required.
  10. Maintain a spirit of fraternity, togetherness, friendship, and mutual support throughout the PKKMB activities.

DON’T — What Students Must Not Do

  1. Do not violate any rules and regulations established for the implementation of PKKMB.
  2. Do not bring private vehicles to the activity location.
  3. Do not bring dangerous items that may endanger yourself or others.
  4. Do not violate the established clothing and attire requirements.
  5. Do not skip or fail to attend the PKKMB activities without a valid reason. Absence due to illness or a pre-existing medical condition must be supported by a valid medical certificate. Violations of the attendance requirements may result in academic sanctions.
  6. Do not bring or smoke cigarettes, use vapes, or use similar products during the PKKMB activities.
  7. Do not litter and always maintain the cleanliness of the campus environment.
  8. Do not damage campus facilities in any form.
  9. Do not engage in bullying, physical violence, or psychological violence against fellow students.
  10. Do not chant inappropriate yells, make statements that offend other faculty members, or include elements related to ethnicity, religion, race, or intergroup relations (SARA).

PKKMB is an important part of introducing new students to the academic environment and campus life. Therefore, all new students of FP USU are expected to participate in the activities with discipline, orderliness, responsibility, mutual respect, and a strong spirit of fraternity.

Let us make the 2026 PKKMB at FP USU a space to build togetherness, become familiar with the campus environment, and begin our academic journey with a positive spirit and a strong sense of responsibility.
