The JHL Merah Putih Kasih Foundation has opened registration for Phase II of the JHL Merah Putih Kasih Scholarship for eligible students of the Faculty of Agriculture USU. An additional quota is available for 44 students who complete the required documents and register through the provided Google Form.
In connection with the letter from the JHL Merah Putih Kasih Foundation dated September 17, 2026, concerning the addition of participants to the Coconut Scholarship at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), the Faculty of Agriculture USU is providing information regarding the opening of Phase II of the JHL Merah Putih Kasih Scholarship for students of the Faculty of Agriculture USU.
The addition of scholarship recipients is part of the continuation of cooperation between Universitas Sumatera Utara and the JHL Merah Putih Kasih Foundation in supporting student education through a scholarship program that has been implemented previously. The program is part of the JHL Merah Putih Kasih Foundation's efforts to support the 1000 Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Graduates in 5 Years Program.
In Phase II, the JHL Merah Putih Kasih Foundation is offering an additional quota of 44 students from the Faculty of Agriculture USU. In the application process, the Faculty of Agriculture USU proposed a list of 50 prospective recipients to subsequently undergo a selection process in accordance with the applicable provisions.
Requirements
Students who can participate in this scholarship program must meet the following requirements:
Active students of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara.
Come from underprivileged families.
Priority is given to students who have not received scholarships from other parties.
Required Documents
Applicants are required to prepare the following documents:
Student ID Card (KTM).
Family Card (KK).
Desil 1–4 evidence as a substitute for the Certificate of Financial Inability (SKTM).
Parents' salary slip or a statement of parents' income issued by the Neighborhood Association (RT)/Community Association (RW).
Statement confirming that the student is not receiving another scholarship.
In addition to these documents, there are additional requirements that must be completed through the registration form (Google Form), including:
The reason or explanation of why the student is eligible to receive the scholarship; and
Student biodata.
Students are expected to ensure that all documents and data submitted are complete and accurate before submitting their application.
