Chairani Hanum, a lecturer in the Agrotechnology Study Program at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, has expertise in agronomy and ecophysiology. Her main research focuses on understanding plant responses to environmental changes and applying cultivation techniques based on climate-soil-plant interactions.

Chairani Hanum earned her bachelor's degree from IKIP Negeri Medan and Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), followed by a master's degree from USU and a doctorate from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB). With a strong educational background and in-depth research experience, she plays an active role in developing knowledge in agronomy and makes valuable contributions to students and the academic environment.
