Ir. Lanti Yulianti Rebecca Sitohang, S.Pt., M.Sc. is a lecturer in the Animal Science program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, specializing in Animal Feed Production and Technology. She was born in Baneara on September 20, 1996. She completed her bachelor’s degree (S1) in the Animal Science program at the Universitas Jambi. She subsequently earned a Professional Degree in Animal Science Engineering and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Animal Science from Universitas Gadjah Mada. While pursuing her master’s degree, she was awarded an LPDP scholarship from the Indonesian Ministry of Finance (2022–2024).
In her academic work, Lanti Yulianti Rebecca Sitohang teaches several courses, including Biochemistry, Animal Feed Processing Science and Technology, Dairy Animal Nutrition, Animal Physiology and Behavior, and Livestock Genetic Resources of North Sumatra. Her research interests include animal feed technology, animal genomics, and the immune system and physiological responses of livestock. One of her research projects involved the application of enzyme supplementation technology in poultry feed and the analysis of immune gene expression, which was published in a reputable international journal (Q1) in 2024. In addition to publishing scientific articles, he has also contributed to a chapter in a Scopus-indexed book discussing feed technology to reduce cholesterol levels in eggs.
Before pursuing a career in academia, he gained professional experience in the livestock industry as a Production Supervisor for Livestock Medicines and Vitamins and as a Nutritionist for laying hens.
