Muhammad Khaliqi was born in Banda Aceh on June 23, 1993. Khaliqi completed his undergraduate education at Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2014. During his time as a student, Khaliqi was active in student activities and became the Chairman of the Agricultural Social Economics Student Association (IMASEP USU) for the 2013-2014 period. During his time as a student, Khaliqi received a PPA Scholarship from the Ministry of Education and Culture and a scholarship from the Rain Forest Foundation. Khaliqi's research when completing his undergraduate studies was Analysis of Factors Affecting Consumer Preferences for Coffee Shops in Medan. After graduating, Khaliqi started his career as a Management Trainee at National Consumer Good Industry. In 2015, Khaliqi decided to continue his master's degree at IPB University and graduated in 2017 with funding from the Beasiswa Unggulan of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Khaliqi's research focus remains the same, which is related to the marketing subsystem of agricultural products. In 2018, Khaliqi joined as a lecturer at Universitas Sumatera Utara. Currently, Khaliqi's research focuses on consumer behavior, agricultural product marketing, and agricultural policy.
