Nurjama'yah Br. Ketaren was born in Pancur Batu on June 07, 1975. She is a lecturer at Universitas Sumatera Utara in Animal Science Biotechnology. She completed her last education at the doctoral level in the Animal Husbandry Study Program Faculty of Animal Science, Andalas University, in 2015.
