Dr. Ir. Nurzainah Ginting, M.Sc., born on February 12, 1963 in Medan, is an academician and expert in the field of Animal Husbandry. With her dedication to the development of science and research in the field of livestock production, Dr. Nurzainah has brought valuable contributions as a lecturer at the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU).

Her higher education journey began with a bachelor's degree (S1) in Animal Science from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). Subsequently, Dr. Nurzainah pursued a master's degree at Murdoch University, adding an international dimension to her educational background. The culmination of her formal education was achieved by obtaining her doctorate (S3) in Natural Resources and Environmental Management at the Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2010.

As a lecturer at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Dr. Nurzainah has played an active role in developing students' understanding and skills in animal husbandry. Her expertise in livestock production is not only reflected in teaching, but also in active research. Dr. Nurzainah has successfully mentored students and produced research that has positively contributed to the development of animal science.
