Ir. R. Edhy Mirwandhono, M.Si., born on September 25, 1967, in Medan, is an academician and livestock expert who has significantly contributed to education and research. Currently, he serves as a lecturer in the Undergraduate Program in Animal Husbandry at the Universitas Sumatera Utara.

His higher education journey began with a bachelor's degree (S1) in Animal Husbandry from the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), creating a solid foundation for his academic career. Later, Ir. R. Edhy continued his higher education by earning a master's degree (S2) in Animal Husbandry from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), demonstrating a high commitment to improving knowledge in animal husbandry.

As a lecturer at the Universitas Sumatera Utara, Ir. R. Edhy Mirwandhono has been prominent in research, particularly in his two main focuses: Mixed Farming and Livestock Nutrition and Food. His active involvement in research reflects a desire to make a real contribution to advancing livestock science in Indonesia.
