Firman Frananta Sebayang (250301049), a student of the Agrotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), has once again demonstrated outstanding achievement by earning multiple awards at national and international Taekwondo championships throughout 2026. His accomplishments reflect the commitment of the Faculty of Agriculture students to excelling in both academic and non-academic fields.
At the 9th Gewinn Malaysia Open Taekwondo Championship 2026, Firman secured two gold medals in the Junior Kyorugi Male Middle and Junior Jumping Front Kick Male categories. These achievements further affirm his ability to compete successfully at the international level while enhancing the reputation of Universitas Sumatera Utara on the global stage.
In addition, Firman delivered outstanding performances at several national competitions. He won a bronze medal in the Senior Men's Kyorugi Under 80 kg category at the 2026 Ksatria Nusantara PBTI Series International Taekwondo Championship, Medan, and earned second place (silver medal) in the Senior Men's Kyorugi Under 87 kg category at the 2026 SUMUT National Taekwondo Championship.
These achievements are the result of Firman's hard work, discipline, dedication, and unwavering determination demonstrated throughout every competition in which he has participated.
