The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), once again demonstrated its commitment to expanding job opportunities for graduates by facilitating the recruitment of PT. Angel Yeast Budi Indonesia on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The event was attended by around 20 alumni from various faculties and universities in North Sumatra who had advanced to the interview stage.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), once again became the venue for a company recruitment event on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The activity was organized by PT. Angel Yeast Budi Indonesia and attended by around 20 alumni from various faculties and universities in North Sumatra who had passed the selection to the interview stage.

 

In the recruitment process, the company required candidates to have proficiency in Mandarin or English, proven by official certificates. The available positions included Production Trainee, Quality Control Trainee, Equipment Trainee, Thermal Power Trainee, Human Resources Trainee, Finance Trainee, Environmental Trainee, Purchasing Trainee, Warehouse Trainee, and Import & Export Trainee.

 

In her remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Tavi, expressed her appreciation for the event. “I am very pleased that this activity means unemployment in Indonesia can be reduced. I hope our collaboration will improve, so that more graduates from the USU Faculty of Agriculture can be accepted into new companies to be established. Hopefully, we can continue this cooperation in the future, ultimately contributing to the nation’s development,” said Prof. Tavi.

 

This opportunity not only accelerates the absorption of the workforce but also provides alumni with access to training programs of international standards. The Faculty of Agriculture reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with industry to broaden employment opportunities for graduates while enhancing the quality of human resources prepared to face global challenges.
