The USU Faculty of Agriculture has hosted Pascal Biotech to discuss collaboration plans between Pascal Biotech and the USU Faculty of Agriculture in the research of biological control of oil palm plant diseases.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) welcomed representatives from Pascal Biotech on March 12, 2025, at the Dean's Meeting Room of the Faculty of Agriculture, USU.

 

Pascal Biotech is a biotechnology company focused on innovation, particularly in the production of microbe-based products and the development of new formulations for treating Basal Stem Rot (BSR) disease in oil palm plantations.

 

This visit aimed to discuss a potential collaboration between Pascal Biotech and the Faculty of Agriculture, USU, in the field of biological control research for oil palm diseases. It is hoped that the discussions on this partnership will be promptly followed up, allowing the research collaboration and cooperation agreement to be realized soon.
