The “Jasa Raharja Mengajar” Program has been implemented at the USU Faculty of Agriculture with the topics of public lectures “Persiapan Menuju Dunia Kerja” and “Komunikasi Efektif dalam Wawancara Kerja”

This activity took place on October 1, 2024 at Soeratman Hall, Faculty of Agriculture USU, beginning with remarks from the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si.

In this event, Jasa Raharja seeks to increase students' understanding of how to prepare well when applying for a job so that they can be accepted at their dream company.

PT Jasa Raharja is a social insurance company that, in accordance with Laws No. 33 and 34 of 1964, is obliged to provide compensation to people who experience traffic accidents, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Transport and Road Traffic Passenger Accident Insurance Program and collect and manage funds from the public in order to fulfill the provision of public rights to compensation.

“Effective communication is an important skill in job interviews. Effective communication includes qualifications, confidence, and personality, which require practice and authenticity. Be yourself, convey your ideas, and build relationships with the audience,” Novaria said in her presentation.

The event was attended by lecturers, education staff, and students of the USU Faculty of Agriculture, the majority of whom were final year students. They actively participated in question and answer sessions and discussions, which showed their enthusiasm in gaining additional knowledge related to the world of work.

Hopefully this activity will provide many benefits for students in preparing themselves to face the challenges of the world of work.
