Located at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, on Friday, March 25, 2022, the Preparatory Meeting of the Cooperation Body (BKS) of Western Indonesia State Universities in Agriculture convened, attended by deans from 22 universities across Western Indonesia.

The meeting began with the signing of an MoU by the deans from the 22 faculties, followed by discussions on the preparation for the BKS Western Indonesia Agriculture meeting. A key agenda item was organizing an international seminar to be held in Bengkulu in September 2022. Agreed points included inviting the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia and five academicians or professionals from Turkey, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia, and India as keynote speakers. The seminar is planned to be conducted in a hybrid format.
The implementation of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program was another essential topic discussed. Dr. Ir. A. Muslim, M.Agr., emphasized that student outreach is crucial for the success of student exchange programs. Existing programs such as Permata Sari and Permata Sakti could be further optimized.
The meeting continued with a discussion on Key Performance Indicators (IKU) and QS 100. This work meeting marked one of the final events of the BKS PTN Barat activities at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa before the deans departed for their respective universities on March 26, 2022.
