The Community Service Program under the 2023 Professor Service scheme has been successfully implemented with the theme "Landscape Design, Arrangement, and Flower Seedling Provision in Seribu Bunga Agrotourism Park, Desa Raya, Berastagi District." This program aims to support the development of local agrotourism potential by enhancing the park's layout, providing high-quality flower seedlings, and adding aesthetic touches to the landscape of Seribu Bunga Agrotourism Park. The initiative is expected to boost the park's appeal as a prime tourist destination while contributing to the welfare of the local community.
The activity was carried out by a team of academics consisting of experts and professors in their fields: Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si., Prof. Dr. Halimatuddahliana, S.T., M.Sc., Dr. Dra. Ir. Chairani Hanum, M.S., and Dr. Ir. Emmy Harso Kardhinata, M.Sc. During its implementation, the team collaborated with the local community to ensure that the program met their specific needs. In addition, the program supported community empowerment through training and assistance in park management.
