Medan, 15 July 2026 – The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), received a donation of 13,500 eggs from PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk through the company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. The handover ceremony took place in front of the Faculty of Agriculture Main Building on Wednesday (15 July 2026) at 11:00 a.m. WIB, reflecting the company's commitment to supporting the well-being of the university community while strengthening its partnership with the higher education sector.

The event was attended by the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Ir. Posma Mangasi Pintaria Marbun, M.P.; the Head of the Master's Program in Animal Science, Dr. Ir. Ma'ruf Tafsin, M.Si., IPM; the Head of the Undergraduate Program in Animal Science, Ir. Achmad Sadeli, S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM., ASEAN Eng., the Secretary of the Undergraduate Program in Animal Science, Ir. Peni Patriani, S.Pt., M.P., IPM., ASEAN Eng.; faculty members, students, and educational staff from the Animal Science Program. Also in attendance were Irfan Fajri Rambe, Personnel & General Affairs Manager of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk, together with company representatives, as well as executives and staff from PT Karya Semangat Mandiri, a subsidiary of PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk.

In his remarks, Irfan Fajri Rambe stated that the company's CSR program reflects its commitment to fostering harmonious relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including universities and government institutions.

"We hope this CSR program will continue to grow, strengthen relationships with academic institutions and government agencies, and provide meaningful benefits to society. Through this initiative, we aim to sustain strong synergy and cooperation with all our partners," he said.

Meanwhile, the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Ir. Posma Mangasi Pintaria Marbun, M.P., expressed his appreciation for PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk's support and contribution to the Faculty of Agriculture community.
