FP USU commemorated Eid al-Adha 1443 H by slaughtering 2 cows and 2 goats, distributing the meat to faculty members, staff, and the surrounding community.

Medan – FP USU: The celebration of Eid al-Adha 1443 H fell on Sunday, July 10, 2022, as determined by the government. The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU) participated in the 2022 Eid al-Adha celebration by slaughtering 2 cows and 2 goats on Monday, July 11, 2022.


The Dean of FP USU, Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S., attended the event alongside the vice deans and program coordinators who also contributed as organizers of the qurban. “We hope that the number of qurban organizers will increase every year so that this activity can continue,” said the Dean.


The organizing committee, consisting of educational staff, ensured the smooth execution of the event. The committee also distributed qurban meat packages to faculty staff, lecturers, and the surrounding community.
