Regal Springs Indonesia Visits Faculty of Agriculture USU to Discuss Internships and Research Collaboration

PT. Regal Springs Indonesia visited the Faculty of Agriculture USU on June 21, 2025. The visit focused on implementing internships for MSP students and exploring opportunities for research collaboration with several study programs. RSI also invited the faculty representatives to visit the internship site for direct supervision.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), once again welcomed a visit from PT. Regal Springs Indonesia (RSI) on Tuesday, June 21, 2025. This visit was a continuation of the existing collaboration, especially in the fields of education and research.

 

The RSI team was warmly received by the Vice Dean III of FP USU, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si., accompanied by the Head of the Aquatic Resource Management (MSP) Program, Desrita, S.Pi., M.Si., the Subdivision Head of Partnership, and several expert staff of the faculty.

 

During the meeting, Mrs. Intan, representing RSI, presented preparations for the internship program (PKL) that will soon be conducted for three MSP students. In addition, opportunities for research collaboration between RSI and several study programs within FP USU were discussed, highlighting the synergy between the industrial sector and academia.

 

At the end of the meeting, RSI invited the Dean’s office and program representatives to visit the internship site for direct supervision and monitoring of student activities.

 

This initiative is expected to further strengthen institutional collaboration between FP USU and RSI and contribute significantly to the development of student competencies through relevant industrial experience.
