The Outstanding Student Selection (PILMAPRES) at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), was successfully held at the DH Penny Building on Saturday, April 1, 2023. The event was attended by eleven students from various undergraduate programs within the Faculty of Agriculture. The competition featured highly qualified judges, including Irda Safni, S.P., MCP., Ph.D., Riswanti Sigalingging, S.TP., M.Si., Ph.D., and Lukman Adlin Harahap, S.TP., M.Si.
Participants enthusiastically and earnestly presented their creative ideas on the topic "Sustainable Development Goals and the Industrial Revolution 4.0" in front of the judges and audience, using English. A question-and-answer session was also conducted to test the depth of understanding and originality of their ideas.

Based on the final recap of the judges' evaluations, the winners of the 2023 PILMAPRES Faculty-Level competition are as follows:
In her closing remarks, the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Agriculture delivered a motivational message, saying, "For finalists who were not fortunate enough to win, this is not the end of everything, but rather a delayed success."
The 1st place winner of the PILMAPRES Faculty-Level competition will represent the Faculty of Agriculture USU in the University-Level PILMAPRES competition.
