The Faculty of Agriculture of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Faculty of Agriculture of HKBP Nommensen University (UHN) on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the UHN Faculty of Medicine Hall. This activity was carried out in conjunction with the 40th Anniversary of the UHN Faculty of Agriculture.
The signing of the cooperation agreement was attended by Prof. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of USU, the Owner of the UHN Foundation, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of UHN, the former Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture of UHN, the speakers of the public lecture, the Head of Study Program in the Faculty of Agriculture of UHN, as well as lecturers and students of the Faculty of Agriculture of UHN. In addition to attending the signing of this cooperation agreement, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S also became one of the speakers for a public lecture with the theme "Competitiveness of Indonesian Spice Commodity Exports in the Global Market and its Role for National Growth."
The event ended with a souvenir exchange between the USU Faculty of Agriculture and the UHN Faculty of Agriculture. Hopefully, the cooperation between FP USU and FP UHN will soon be realized.
