The USU Faculty of Agriculture signed a cooperation agreement with the Pascasarjana Universitas Sam Ratulangi on September 4, 2024. This cooperation includes collaboration in curriculum, research, joint publications, workshops, and webinars in agriculture and entomology.

The Faculty of Agriculture of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) signed a cooperation agreement with the Pascasarjana Universitas Sam Ratulangi on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

The signing of this cooperation agreement involved the Doctoral Program in Agricultural Sciences FP USU and the Doctoral Program in Entomology Postgraduate Unsrat Manado, as well as the Master's Program in Agrotechnology FP USU and the Master's Program in Agronomy Pascasarjana Unsrat Manado. This collaboration aims to facilitate the initiation of collaboration in the fields of curriculum, research, joint publications, workshops, webinars, and others.

The event was attended by representatives of the USU Faculty of Agriculture, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS (Dean of the USU Faculty of Agriculture), Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si. (Vice Dean III FP USU), Prof. Luthfi Aziz Mahmud Siregar, SP., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Head of the Doctoral Program in Agricultural Sciences and Master's Program in Agrotechnology), Dr. Ir. Lisa Mawarni, MP. (Secretary of Doctoral Program in Agricultural Sciences), Dr. Mariani Br. Sembiring, SP., MP. (Secretary of Master's Program in Agrotechnology), Ameilia Zuliyanti Siregar, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Head of Plant Pest Laboratory), Yustika Venawati, S.Si. (Head of Research, Community Service, and Cooperation). From the Pascasarjana Universitas Sam Ratulangi, Dr. Ir. Juliet Merry Eva Mamahit, M.Si. (Coordinator of Doctoral Program in Entomology) and Prof. Dr. Ir. Johannes E. X. Rogi, M.Si. (Coordinator of Master's Program in Agronomy).

It is expected that after the signing of this cooperation agreement, there will be more implementation of collaboration between the two institutions.
