The Faculty of Agriculture of the Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) has received a visit from the Marine Resources and Fisheries Monitoring Station (PSDKP) Belawan, North Sumatra (Wednesday, August 21, 2024). The arrival of PSDKP Belawan to the USU Faculty of Agriculture was to discuss the initiation and signing of a cooperation agreement between PSDKP Belawan and the USU Faculty of Agriculture.
Some of the parties present from PSDKP Belawan during this visit were the Head of PSDKP Belawan (M Syamsu Rokhman, S.Pi., M.H.), Head of General Affairs of PSDKP Belawan (Edy Susanto), along with expert staff, while those present from the USU Faculty of Agriculture were Ir. Revandy I. M. Damanik M.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. (Vice Dean II of the USU Faculty of Agriculture), Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si. (Vice Dean III of the USU Faculty of Agriculture), Desrita, S.Pi., M.Si (Head of the USU Undergraduate Program in Aquatic Resources Management), lecturers, and expert staff.
The plan is that this cooperation will be carried out in the fields of education, research, and service related to the development of science in the field of marine and fisheries management.
