The Undergraduate Program in Aquatic Resources Management at Universitas Sumatera Utara conducted a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries at Universitas Syiah Kuala on May 9, 2025. The visit included the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA) to strengthen collaboration in research, publication, and student mentoring in the fields of genetics and biodiversity.

As part of a benchmarking visit on Friday, May 9, 2025, the Undergraduate Program in Aquatic Resources Management, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, visited the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries at Universitas Syiah Kuala. The event also marked the signing of an Implementation Agreement (IA), attended by the Vice Dean for Resources and Finance, Prof. Dr. Nur Fadli, S.Pi., M.Sc., along with Ms. Vindy Rilani Manurung, S.Pi., M.P., and several lecturers and students.

 

This collaboration aims to strengthen joint efforts in research, publication, and student mentoring, particularly in laboratory analysis related to genetics and biodiversity. It is hoped that the signed IA will support the success of future collaborative initiatives between the two institutions.
