Public Perception Survey on DPR RI's 2019–2024 Performance held at FP USU, focusing on legislation, budgeting, and oversight. Results serve as evaluation for DPR RI.

Medan – FP USU: The Public Perception Survey on the Performance of DPR RI for the 2019–2024 Period with the theme “The Implementation of Legislative, Budgetary, and Oversight Functions in the Framework of People’s Representation and Parliamentary Diplomacy” was successfully held on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, in the Seminar Room of DH. Penny Building.


The event began with an opening speech by Mrs. Sri Nurhayati Qodriyatun, S.Sos., M.Si., a Legislative Analyst at the Research Center of DPR RI, followed by a welcome speech and formal opening by the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si.


Mrs. Sri Nurhayati Qodriyatun, S.Sos., M.Si., stated that the survey aims to provide constructive feedback to DPR RI regarding shortcomings perceived by the public. This will enable the legislative, budgetary, and oversight functions of DPR RI to be carried out more effectively. She also mentioned that the survey has been conducted across 18 provinces, with the hope of representing the aspirations of the Indonesian people.


The public perception survey on DPR RI’s performance for the 2019–2024 period was enthusiastically welcomed and carried out by the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Sumatera Utara. Participants actively engaged in discussions and refreshed their understanding of the role and performance of DPR RI.


This survey is crucial for supporting the development and improvement of DPR RI’s performance, which will ultimately benefit society and government operations. For this reason, the role of the academic community of the Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Sumatera Utara—comprising lecturers, educational staff, and students—is pivotal in fostering improvements for both North Sumatra and Indonesia as a whole, ensuring the nation’s prosperity.


The event concluded with closing remarks by the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si., who expressed her hope that this survey would provide valuable feedback for DPR RI to enhance its future performance.
