One of the regular academic activities held by the Faculty of Agriculture, USU, is the National Seminar on the Results of Community Service Activities. This year, the seminar entered its 10th year of implementation, held on November 28, 2023, at the D.H. Penny Building, Faculty of Agriculture.
The 10th National Seminar on the Results of Community Service Programs in 2023 was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, the Chairperson of the Seminar Committee, speakers, heads of study programs and program secretaries, lecturers, students, as well as seminar participants both online and offline. Participants in this seminar came from various regions across Indonesia.
The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S., gave the opening speech and officially opened the event. The Chairperson of the Committee (Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si.) also gave a speech at the event. In her speech, she hoped that this event would help disseminate the results of community service activities conducted by the faculty.
The seminar featured expert speakers in their fields, including Dr. Tjahja Muhandri, ST, M.Si. (Lecturer at the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, IPB University) and Prof. Tulus, Vor. Dipl. Math, M.Si., Ph.D. (Chairman of the Community Service Institute at Universitas Sumatera Utara).
