The Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology of FP USU Successfully Conducts BAN-PT Accreditation Site Visit

The Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology of FP USU successfully carried out the BAN-PT accreditation site visit on 27–29 November 2025, which included question-and-answer sessions, facility inspections, participation from various academic stakeholders, and the delivery of assessor recommendations.

The Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), has completed the series of accreditation site visit activities held on 27–29 November 2025 at the FP USU Main Building. This activity marks an important stage in the study program’s quality assessment process by BAN-PT.

 

The site visit was conducted by two BAN-PT assessors, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Lies Sulistyowati, MS., from Universitas Padjadjaran and Prof. Dr. Ir. Hadiwiyono, M.Si., from Universitas Sebelas Maret, accompanied by BAN-PT staff member, Mrs. Narsih.

 

The assessment activities were attended by the USU Vice Rector I, the leadership of the FP USU Deanery, the Head and Secretary of the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology, the accreditation document drafting team, as well as representatives from BPM USU, USU Library, USU PSI, lecturers, administrative staff, students, alumni, and graduate users.

 

Throughout the assessment, the activities proceeded in an orderly and smooth manner. The assessors conducted several question-and-answer sessions related to the Study Program Management Unit (UPPS), quality assurance, lecturers, students, as well as alumni and graduate users. In addition, the assessors directly inspected various learning facilities and infrastructure available in the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology.

 

On the final day, the activity concluded with the presentation and submission of recommendations from the BAN-PT assessors, followed by a group photo session and the presentation of souvenirs from FP USU.

 

With the completion of this site visit, the entire academic community hopes that the Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology will achieve the highest accreditation rating and continue contributing to the advancement of the USU Faculty of Agriculture and to improving the quality of education in the agricultural field.
