The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU), welcomed a visit from the Hai Sawit Indonesia team on Tuesday, October 19, 2025, at the FP USU Dean’s Meeting Room.
Hai Sawit Indonesia is a central palm oil information platform focusing on providing education, inspiration, and promotion of palm oil products and services through various digital channels. In addition, Hai Sawit actively organizes activities that support the advancement of the national palm oil industry.
The visit aimed to discuss plans for collaboration with FP USU in the Palm Oil Career Guidance program for students. The Hai Sawit team also shared information regarding the upcoming 2nd Palm Oil Career Expo, scheduled to be held on October 15–16, 2025.
Through this collaboration, the USU Faculty of Agriculture and Hai Sawit Indonesia are expected to create synergy in making a positive contribution, particularly in preparing young generations to become competent professionals in the palm oil plantation sector.
