Medan – FP USU: The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) welcomed a visit from the Director of Agricultural Economics, Ministry of Agriculture Malaysia, Puan Zarina Ramli, B.Sc., M.Sc., on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

During the visit, the delegation included Datin Bashira, Mrs. Hana (Associate of Datin Bashira), Che Puan Natasya Zarinah Maimunah, Shazwan Suban, and representatives from the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture of North Sumatra Province, represented by Ir. Joni Akim Purba, M.P., as well as the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) North Sumatra, represented by Dayan Sutomo.

The Director of Agricultural Economics, Ministry of Agriculture Malaysia, and her delegation were warmly welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture USU, Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S. During the visit, Dr. Tavi enthusiastically explained various aspects of FP USU, not only concerning the academic process, student affairs, and academic fields but also provided motivation to students, especially in the field of agricultural development, which plays a key role in improving the welfare of society.
