The Department of Plantation and North Sumatra Province visited the Closed House Animal Husbandry of the Faculty of Agriculture of USU on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. The visit was warmly received by the Head of the Department of Plantation and Animal Husbandry (Dr. Ir. Ma'ruf Tafsin M.Si. IPM) and the Secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry (Ir. Achmad Sadeli S.Pt., M.Sc., IPM., ASEAN.Eng).
The Head of the Business Development Division of the Plantation and Livestock Service Office of North Sumatra Province, Ir. Primawati Pangaribuan, M.Si, said that the plan is that the Provincial Plantation and Livestock Service Office will collaborate with the USU Faculty of Agriculture and Charoen Pokphand to conduct training in fostering livestock businesses which will be held at the Closed House FP USU. In addition, this collaboration will also involve Lecturers of the USU FP Animal Husbandry Study Program as resource persons at the training.
Hopefully, this cooperation plan will be implemented soon.
