USU's Aquatic Resource Management Study Program and Universitas Syiah Kuala Aquaculture signed a Cooperation Agreement and discussed the MBKM curriculum on October 21, 2024. This collaboration is expected to open up opportunities for fruitful academic cooperation.
Monday, October 21, 2024, the Aquatic Resources Management Study Program, USU Faculty of Agriculture, received a visit from the Aquaculture Study Program, Faculty of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Banda Aceh. This meeting discussed the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum between the two study programs. In addition, this meeting also held the signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the USU Faculty of Agriculture and the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Universitas Syiah Kuala.
Representatives from the Faculty of Marine and Fisheries, Universitas Syiah Kuala, who attended this visit included Dr. Muhammadar, S.T., M.P. (Vice Dean I), Dr. Cut Dara Dewi, S.Pi., M.Si. (Head of Aquaculture Study Program), Dedi Fazriansyah Putra, M.Sc. (Chair of the Faculty Senate), Suraiya Nazlia, M.Sc. (Head of MBKM Study Program), and Ichsan Rusydi, M.P. (Head of the Visiting Team). While from the USU Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, M.S. (Dean), Prof. Dr. Ir. Elisa Julianti, M.Si. (Vice Dean III), Desrita, S.Pi., M.Si. (Head of the Aquatic Resources Management Study Program), and Yustika Venawati, S.Si. (Head of Research, Community Service, and Cooperation) were present.
It is hoped that after the signing of this Cooperation Agreement, there will be various implementations of cooperation that can benefit both parties.
