Medan – FP USU: A workshop titled "How to Write a Good Scientific Paper Publication in Q1 & Q2" was held at the DH Penny Building, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. The workshop featured Prof. Anjas Asmara Bin Samsudin (Deputy Dean, Development Industry Linkages and Community, Faculty of Agriculture, Universiti Putra Malaysia) as the speaker.

This workshop aimed to provide essential information and expand the knowledge of students and lecturers who lack experience in writing scientific articles for international publications. As part of its commitment to research and publication, the Undergraduate and Master’s Animal Husbandry Programs and the Master's Food Science Program at Universitas Sumatera Utara facilitated this workshop for their students.

During the session, Prof. Anjas Asmara Bin Samsudin discussed the systematic approach to writing international scientific articles, tips and tricks for identifying reputable journals and publishers, how to avoid predatory journals, and techniques for presenting data suitable for publication.
