In an effort to increase student participation in national competitions, the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), held a workshop titled "Enhancing Interest in National Competitions (PPK ORMAWA) for Faculty of Agriculture Students 2025" on February 15, 2025.

This event featured two speakers: Dr. Sahran Saputra, S.Sos., M.Sos., a Lecturer in the Social Welfare Study Program at UMSU and a National Reviewer for BELMAWA, as well as Vindy Rilani Manurung, S.Pi., M.P., a Lecturer in the Aquatic Resource Management Study Program at FP USU. Both speakers provided insights on how ORMAWA FP USU can prepare for the Strengthening Capacity of Student Organizations Program (PPK ORMAWA) Competition. The event was also attended by the Vice Dean I of FP USU, faculty members, and representatives of ORMAWA FP USU.

It is hoped that more proposals from ORMAWA FP USU will participate and receive funding in 2025 compared to the previous year. May ORMAWA FP USU achieve greater success and compete at national and international levels.
