Welcome to the website of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra (FP USU)!

The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of North Sumatra is one of Indonesia’s leading agricultural higher education institutions, committed to producing outstanding, innovative, and globally competitive human resources. Since its establishment, FP USU has continuously transformed into a center for education, research, and community service that makes tangible contributions to the development of agriculture, food security, the environment, and community welfare.
Amid various global challenges—such as climate change, food security, digital transformation, and the demands of sustainable development—we believe that universities play a strategic role in fostering innovation and solutions for the future of agriculture. Therefore, the Faculty of Agriculture at USU consistently promotes the advancement of science and technology through adaptive learning, high-quality research, and close collaboration with the government, the business sector, industry, and the community.
We have created this website as a platform for information and communication that provides an overview of the faculty’s profile, educational programs, academic activities, research, innovation, community service, and the various achievements of the academic community at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of North Sumatra.
