The 9th IC-AEFS 2025, organized by the USU Faculty of Agriculture, will be held on September 25, 2025, in hybrid format. The conference, themed “Transforming Agricultural Systems through Innovation and Sustainable Environment to Enhance Food Resilience,” will feature international keynote speakers and publish Scopus-indexed papers.
The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, proudly invites you to participate in the 9th International Conference on Agriculture, Environment and Food Security 2025 (9th IC-AEFS 2025), which will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in a hybrid format (offline at the DLCB Building USU and online via Zoom).
This year’s conference carries the theme:
“Transforming Agricultural Systems through Innovation and Sustainable Environment to Enhance Food Resilience”
and will feature keynote speakers from New Zealand, Pakistan, Australia, and Indonesia.
Conference topics include:
Plant science (agronomy, plant breeding, biotechnology, integrated pest management, and soil science)
Agricultural economics
Animal science
Food science and technology
Agricultural engineering
Marine and fisheries science
Environmental science relevant to sustainability issues.
All accepted papers will be published in the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (Scopus-indexed).

Notification of acceptance: September 7, 2025
