Brin Opens Registration For B-creative Competition At Indonesia Research And Innovation Fair (iri Fair) 2026 | Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Sumatera Utara

The National Research and Innovation Agency (Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional) is once again organizing B-Creative (BRIN Competition for Advanced Research and Innovation) as part of the Indonesia Research and Innovation Fair (IRI Fair) 2026. This competition serves as a platform for master’s (S2) students to showcase their thesis research results while expanding the impact of their studies to the wider community.

B-Creative is a thesis research competition for master’s students that will go through several assessment stages, including Thesis Research Presentation, 3-Minute Research Pitch (3MR), and Research Poster Exhibition.

Competition Stages:

Thesis Research Presentation
Finalists present their research in a closed session to assess the substance, novelty, and contribution of their study.
3-Minute Research Pitch (3MR)
Finalists deliver a three-minute presentation to communicate their research findings and significance to the general public in an engaging and accessible way.
Research Poster Exhibition
Finalists display research posters as a medium for scientific dissemination to a wider audience.

Participants have the opportunity to win various awards, including:

Total cash prizes worth tens of millions of rupiah
Trophies
Certificates for participants and winners

This competition is open to master’s students who have passed their thesis defense and are still actively enrolled, with a maximum study duration of up to semester 5 as of September 2026.
