First Resources Group is opening career opportunities through its 2026 Management Trainee Program for D3/S1/D4 graduates from various engineering, agriculture, plantation, and forestry majors. The program aims to develop future leaders in the palm oil plantation industry through intensive training with placements across Sumatra and Kalimantan. Registration is open throughout May 2026.

 

First Resources Group has once again opened career opportunities for Indonesia’s top graduates through its 2026 recruitment and training program. As one of the leading palm oil producers in the Asia-Pacific region, First Resources manages more than 200,000 hectares of oil palm plantations located in Riau, East Kalimantan, and West Kalimantan, and also operates refinery, biodiesel, fractionation, and palm kernel processing facilities.

Through this training program, the company seeks candidates to prepare them as future leaders in the palm oil plantation and processing industry.

Available Programs

A. Mill Assistant Training (MAT)

A training program designed to prepare future Palm Oil Mill Assistants.

General Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/D4 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
  • Willing to undergo a 6-month training program
  • Willing to commit to a 2-year service bond
  • Willing to be placed in Sumatra and Kalimantan

B. Downstream Management Trainee (DMT)

A training program designed to prepare future Downstream Assistants.

General Qualifications:

  • D3/S1/D4 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Current Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
  • Willing to undergo a 1-year training program
  • Willing to commit to a 2-year service bond
  • Willing to be placed in Sumatra

C. Traction Assistant Training (TAT)

A training program designed to prepare future Traction Assistants.

General Qualifications:

  • D3/S1/D4 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Willing to undergo a 6-month training program
  • Willing to commit to a 2-year service bond
  • Willing to be placed in Sumatra and Kalimantan

D. Field Assistant Training (FAT)

A training program designed to prepare future Field/Division Assistants.

General Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/D4 degree in Agriculture, Plantation, Forestry, or Agricultural Engineering
  • Willing to undergo a 6-month training program
  • Willing to commit to a 2-year service bond
  • Willing to be placed in Sumatra and Kalimantan
