Graduate Admissions For The Faculty Of Agriculture, Usu, Odd Semester Academic Year 2026/2027 (phase Ii) Officially Open | Faculty of Agriculture Universitas Sumatera Utara

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara (FP USU) has officially opened Phase II Graduate Admissions for the Odd Semester of the 2026/2027 Academic Year. This admission period is intended for prospective students who wish to pursue master's or doctoral degrees in agriculture and related disciplines.

FP USU offers five flagship graduate programs, supported by experienced faculty members, comprehensive learning facilities, and research activities focused on advancing scientific knowledge and innovation to promote sustainable agricultural development.

Admission Requirements

Master's Program (M.Sc.)

Applicants are required to prepare the following documents:

Bachelor's degree certificate (S1) or a Certificate of Graduation (SKTL) for current-year graduates. Applicants from universities other than USU must submit their bachelor's degree certificate.
Official undergraduate academic transcript.
Recent 3 × 4 cm passport photograph.
Two letters of recommendation from lecturers who taught the applicant during their undergraduate studies and/or from their employer (for employed applicants).
National Identity Card (KTP).
Confirmation of applicant data through penerimaansps.usu.ac.id.
A valid PLTI Academic Potential Test (TPDA) score issued within the past two years.
Attendance at an interview conducted by the selected study program.

Doctoral Program (Ph.D.)

Applicants are required to submit:

Bachelor's (S1) and Master's (S2) degree certificates, or a Certificate of Graduation (SKTL) for current-year graduates. Applicants from universities other than USU must submit both degree certificates.
Official undergraduate and master's academic transcripts.
Recent 3 × 4 cm passport photograph.
Two letters of recommendation from lecturers who taught the applicant during their undergraduate and/or master's studies and/or from their employer (for employed applicants).
National Identity Card (KTP).
Confirmation of applicant data through penerimaansps.usu.ac.id.
A valid PLTI Academic Potential Test (TPDA) score issued within the past two years.
Attendance at an interview conducted by the selected study program.
A proposed research proposal.

Online Registration: July 20–22, 2026
Deadline for Data Confirmation and Examination Card Printing: July 23, 2026, at 3:00 PM (WIB)
PLTI Academic Potential Test (TPDA): July 25, 2026
Interview and Subject-Specific Examination: July 24–27, 2026
Admission Results Announcement: July 31, 2026

Application Procedure

Pay the application fee via BNI Virtual Account:
- Master's Program: IDR 1,000,000
- Doctoral Program: IDR 1,500,000
Application fees are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be carried forward to future admission periods.
Complete the online application at penerimaan-terpadu.usu.ac.id using the billing number you receive after payment.
Fill in the applicant's personal information, select the desired study program, and upload all required documents in accordance with the admission guidelines.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to prepare all required documents in advance and complete their applications within the specified registration period.
