IRI Fair 2026 Socialization: Students Invited to Join the B-Creative and BRINATHON Research Competitions

IRI Fair 2026 will hold a Student Research Competition Socialization event to introduce the B-Creative and BRINATHON programs as platforms for developing student innovation and research ideas. The event, which will take place on 26 May 2026, will feature speakers from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology as well as BRIN, and can be attended via Zoom and the BRIN Indonesia YouTube channel.

In an effort to encourage greater student participation in research and innovation, a Student Research Competition Socialization event will be held as part of the Indonesian Research and Innovation Fair (IRI Fair) 2026 series. The event will introduce two flagship competition programs: B-Creative (BRIN Competition for Advanced Research and Innovation) and BRINATHON (BRIN Idea Marathon).

This socialization event provides an opportunity for students to obtain comprehensive information regarding the competition mechanisms, scope of activities, and opportunities to develop innovative ideas and research through programs facilitated by the National Research and Innovation Agency.

The event will be held on:

  • Day/Date: Tuesday, 26 May 2026
  • Time: 1:00 PM WIB – onwards
  • Platform: Zoom Meeting and live streaming on YouTube BRIN Indonesia

The socialization session will be opened with remarks from:

  • Beny Bandanadjaja
  • Ajeng Arum Sari

Through this activity, students are expected to better understand opportunities for academic capacity development and actively participate in research competitions that support the emergence of innovation and outstanding Indonesian talent.
