USU Library Opens Registration for the 2026 Information Literacy Classes Holiday Program

Make the most of your holiday by joining the USU Library's Information Literacy Classes. Diploma (D3 and D4), Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral students are invited to participate in training sessions on literature searching, Mendeley, and Canva, held from 7 July to 4 August 2026. Seats are limited, so register now to enhance your academic and digital skills.

The Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) Library is once again offering its 2026 Holiday Program through a series of Information Literacy Classes for Diploma (D3 and D4), Undergraduate, Master's, and Doctoral students. The program provides an excellent opportunity for students to spend their holiday productively while strengthening their academic and digital competencies.

The training sessions are designed to support students in their learning activities and academic writing. The available topics include:

  • Literature Searching Using the USU Library's Subscribed E-Journal and E-Book Databases
  • Introduction to Mendeley
  • Introduction to Canva

All training sessions will be held in the Meeting Room on the 3rd Floor of the USU Library from 7 July to 4 August 2026.

Each session is limited to 10 participants, making seats highly competitive. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive an e-Certificate in recognition of their participation.

Interested students are encouraged to register as soon as possible and take advantage of this opportunity to broaden their knowledge and enhance their academic and digital skills during the holiday.
