Welcome to the official website of the Master's Program in Agribusiness.
The Master's Program in Agribusiness was established with the permission of the Directorate General of Higher Education through Decree Number 681/D/T/2009, dated May 6, 2009, and Rector Decree Number 923/H5.1.R/SK/PRS/2009, dated May 11, 2009. The establishment of this study program is an effort to fill the needs of human resources in agribusiness, both as academics, practitioners, policymakers, and implementers. This goal is outlined in the curriculum of the Master’s Program in Agribusiness, which has 38 credit hours. Experts deliver from among teaching lecturers with doctoral qualifications and practitioners with at least 10 years of field experience. The curriculum must also conduct field practice in one of the agribusiness supply chains, both at home and abroad. Students are also required to publish in international journals and proceedings to hone their ability to disseminate the results of their studies and thoughts. The Master’s Program in Agribusiness curriculum is regularly evaluated through FGDs with stakeholders to accommodate the dynamics of human resource needs in the agribusiness sector. Our program also increases students' opportunities to develop their potential through increased access to various study program networks at home and abroad. This access is opened through public lectures, seminars, mentoring, and International Summer Courses. In 2023, the Master’s Program in Agribusiness began integrating the International Summer Course Program as an option for field practice obligations. The program is a collaborative activity with CIRAD, one of the largest research institutions in France that cares about sustainable agriculture. Our program has also prepared a joint degree program with Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand, with a target opening in 2025. Since its establishment, our program has had 274 graduates expected to contribute to filling the human resource needs in the agribusiness sector. Hopefully, this role will get better in the future.
