The Study Program of Animal Science and Master of Animal Science have collaborated in organising an Alumni Gathering with the theme "Pulang Kandang" on Saturday, 13 January 2024 at Hotel Adimulia Medan.
The event was attended by 20 Alumni as stakeholders, Dean of FP USU, Head of Department and Secretary of Department of Animal Husbandry and Master of Animal Science, lecturers, staff and student representatives.
The event was opened with remarks from the Head of Study Program of Animal Husbandry Dr. Ir. Ma'ruf Tafsin, M.Si., IPM, Head of Study Program of Master of Animal Science Dr. Ir. Nevy Diana Hanafi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM, Chairman of IKA Animal Science Ir. R. Edhy Mirwandhono, M.Si., MP, IPM and officially opened by the Dean of FP USU Prof. Dr. Ir. Tavi Supriana, MS.
The "EQUITY Project" material presented during the event contains recommendation points that can be done by the faculty and study programmes, including the need to establish better cooperation between alumni and study programmes, faculties and universities to support the improvement of USU's QS Ranking as a World Class University. In addition, this activity is also expected to support the implementation of the MBKM programme. Alumni were also asked for their willingness to be intensely involved in achieving KPIs, especially IKU 2 and IKU 4.
