Albina br Ginting successfully earned a Doctoral degree from the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, after defending her dissertation on farmer empowerment through a coffee-goat farming integration model during the doctoral promotion examination held in a hybrid format on June 20, 2025.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara, held its Doctoral Promotion Examination on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM in a hybrid format in the IMT GT Room of the Rector’s Bureau. This examination was an important moment for Albina br Ginting, who defended her dissertation titled "Model and Factors Influencing Farmer Empowerment Based on the Coffee–Goat Farming Integration System in North Sumatra Province."

 

The doctoral examination was led by Prof. Dr. Ir. Lisnawita, M.P., Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Agriculture, USU, and was supported by a promotion team consisting of Prof. Ir. Edison Purba, Ph.D. (Promotor), Prof. Ir. Diana Chalil, M.Si., Ph.D. (Co‑Promotor), and Dr. Ir. Nevy Diana Hanafi, S.Pt., M.Si., IPM. (Co‑Promotor). The examiners included Prof. Dr. Ir. Sayed Umar, M.S., Ir. Iskandarini, M.M., Ph.D., and Hasnah, S.P., M.Ec., Ph.D. from Andalas University.

 

The event was also attended by the Vice Rector IV of Universitas HKBP Nommensen, Dr. Erika Pardede, M.App.Sc., along with members of the academic community from the Faculty of Agriculture. Congratulations to Dr. Albina br Ginting on this remarkable achievement. May the doctoral degree she has earned make a significant contribution to the advancement of knowledge and the improvement of community welfare, especially in the integrated agricultural sector.
