The Faculty of Agriculture at Universitas Sumatera Utara held the election for the Non-Professor Academic Senate for the 2024–2029 period on Wednesday, September 5, 2024, at the Soeratman Hall, FP USU.
The candidates for the Non-Professor Academic Senate from the Faculty of Agriculture USU included 4 individuals: Dr. Nini Rahmawati, S.P., M.Si., Dr. Ir. Posma Mangasi Pintaria Marbun, M.P., Dr. Rulianda Purnomo Wibowo, S.P., M.Ec., and Dr. Usman Budi, S.Pt., M.Si.
The election process took place from 08:00 to 13:30 WIB and was supervised by the Vice-Rector II of USU, Dr. Muhammad Arifin Nasution, S.Sos., M.SP., along with his team. The vote counting session started at 14:45 WIB and was broadcast live through the official Instagram account of the USU Faculty of Agriculture.
According to the data, 110 lecturers were eligible to vote. Of these, 95 lecturers attended and cast their votes, while 15 did not participate. The results of the Academic Senate election are as follows:
Based on the vote count, three individuals were elected as members of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Agriculture USU for the 2024–2029 period, namely: Dr. Nini Rahmawati, S.P., M.Si., Dr. Ir. Posma Mangasi Pintaria Marbun, M.P., and Dr. Rulianda Purnomo Wibowo, S.P., M.Ec.
